Canstruction® Colorado is a city-wide competition in which architects and designers build structures entirely out of canned food, which were donated to We Don’t Waste and distributed to local communities at the end of the exhibit.  This year we teamed up with Craft Civil and Vonmod Design to create an 8′ tall Sugar Skull to fit this years “Halloween” theme while also celebrating Denver’s diverse heritage.  Our team won 4 of the 6 possible awards; Most Cans, Best Use of Labels, Best Meal, and Structural Ingenuity. 

The theme for this years build was “Halloween”, our entry “Skullpture” features a 8′ tall Sugar Skull made of 3,635 cans!
