Rebrand of Parikh Stevens Architects reflects firm's focus on balancing the art and science of multifamily and mixed use design.

DENVER (March 22, 2021) – Denver architecture and design firm Parikh Stevens Architects has rebranded as Santulan Architecture. The firm’s new name is derived from Sanskrit for ‘well-balanced,’ a nod to the firm’s longstanding reputation for producing multifamily and mixed-use projects that achieve an optimum balance of art and science.

“Our new name speaks to our understanding that a building is not only a creative endeavor, but also a complex technical assembly,” said Harsh Parikh, principal at Santulan. “While most firms prioritize one focus over the other, our team is equally adept at – and passionate about – both. Our strength lies in our ability to harmonize every element of the design of a structure, positioning each project to achieve its full potential.”

Founded in 1992, Santulan has earned a reputation for its specialization in multifamily and mixed-use work, completing more than 50 major projects in Colorado involving over 8,000 apartment units in the last 10 years alone, including The Amaranth at 2190 E 11th Ave, The Dylan at 3201 Brighton Blvd, and Vida at Sloan’s Lake at 4057 W Colfax Ave.

Along with a new name and a refreshed website, Santulan will move next year into a new headquarters in the Santa Fe Arts District that will house the firm’s team of 15 architects and design professionals. The mixed-use building also includes 25 residential units and is expected to deliver in August of 2022. The building will embody all the best practices that Santulan imbues in their buildings, including healthy living, sustainability, creating community by design, and more.

“Our name may have changed, but this is the same team our clients have come to rely on,” Parikh added. “Our goal has always been to create places that are beautiful and efficient, durable and innovative, inclusive, contextual, sustainable and safe. That focus on achieving the optimum balance in our work is now imbedded in our brand.”
